9:46 a.m. 2014-11-17 It was a pleasant evening but the weather service suddenly announced a tornado warning, so I brought the conures inside well after they had already settled into their night boxes. There was some grumbling from Courtney and Dale, although they didn't really make it difficult for me to make the transfer. No tornado, thank goodness, but now it's supposed to be a freeze warning for tonight, so I guess I'll keep them indoors in the winter cages for a day or so.
