Welcome to the Best Free Peachfronted Conure Information on the Planet

I've lived with Peachfront Conures Aratinga aurea for 30 years. I've bred 'em, trained 'em, even visited Bolivia to observe them in the wild. For more about me, click right here.

(one of) the first WILD peachfronted conure photo i took

Heh. Here is the first Peachfronted Conure photograph I took in the wilds of Bolivia. It wasn't too hard to find. The pair was in some trees right by the road. Too cute. I just got the one bird in the photo -- trying to zoom in too close I guess. Not a technically great photo but it was the achievement of a lifetime for me, considering how far I'd come.

Update 2017: Thanks to the photobucket collapse, I don't know if this is the first wild peachfront conure photo I took. I think it comes later, from the airfield in the Bolivian Pantanal. But it's all the same trip.
