Welcome to the Best Free Peachfronted Conure Information on the Planet

I've lived with Peachfront Conures Aratinga aurea for 30 years. I've bred 'em, trained 'em, even visited Bolivia to observe them in the wild. For more about me, click right here.

for a peachfronted conure, half the fun of sharing a treat is observing the amazon's consternation

So Yellow-fronted Amazon Cookie's all hunkered down in the secret location, where the Peachfronted Conures can't tease and heckle him, when I come forward with some apricots. I give Cookie his apricot first, and you never saw a chubby little green parrot hop forward at light speed quite like Cookie. He climbs into position high up where the conures can't avoid seeing he holds the prize, and then he boldly waves his apricot around and then slowly, teasingly, begins to eat it like the opening scene in a pizza commercial.

Sheldon and Ronnie step forward, momentarily concerned. Then, with a leap of glee, they notice that they too have apricots in the food dish. Seconds later, Courtney and Dale are wrestling over the apricots in their dish.

Cookie stands aghast. He turns to me with an accusing eye. I thought I was special, and I've got to share the goodies with these BIRDS?
