1:59 p.m. 2014-05-28 Very black skies, scary wind, and a tornado watch: It all means that I felt obligated to remove my grumpy Peachfronted Conures from their spacious flights and put them back in their temporary housing. They aren't saying much, and Dale and Ronnie were both cooperative about going into the temp cages but they look a little peeved. Don't laugh at my shabby chic visual barrier -- a vintage trunk with other smaller trunks on top -- and please don't laugh at my extra vintage wallpaper. OK. Go ahead. Laugh.
