Brrrrr! It got close to freezing last night -- there was frost on the ground when I got up at 8 AM and peeked out the window -- but Courtney and Dale said it wasn't cold and refused to sleep in their cozy nestbox near the heatlamp. They do look cute snuggled up together, but it always worries me when they stubbornly deny it's cold. Dale went under the lamp to warm up a bit this morning though. Courtney still stubbornly says it isn't cold.
Sheldon and Ronnie take advantage of every comfort, including a quick run for the warm nestbox at their disposal. Those two never give me a minute's worry.
Of course it looks like everyone's coming inside to the winter quarters on Wednesday, since a hard freeze may be on its way.
