I've lived with Peachfront Conures Aratinga aurea for 30 years. I've bred 'em, trained 'em, even visited Bolivia to observe them in the wild. For more about me, click right here.

talky peachfronted conures?
I just watched a Youtube video where a girl was kissing a male Peachfronted Conure and trying to get him to say, "I love you." He did try to say it, but boy. His voice wasn't any better than Arthur's. It proves the point that they try, but they might not speak very clearly.
And how do I know he's a male Peachfront? Well, he had a visibly very long, flat, snaky head, instead of a more rounded head...in my experience, that's a male. But I suppose it's really just a guess.
