9:39 a.m. 2012-09-30 cuttlebones and mineral blocksI've placed new cuttlebones in the peachfronted conure cages, just in case they get in the urge for some calcium. Their initial reaction? They'd much rather chew up the brand new birch perches that DH just installed. In fact, one of the perches lasted less than 24 hours. Now that's their idea of a satisfying chew toy.
