3:32 p.m. 2012-11-21 pre-thanksgiving for peachfront conuresWhew. I have finally gotten ahead of the mulberry tree, and I think it's going to stop growing for a few months, so I no longer have much mulberry browse to offer my birds. Instead, I just did a big clean-up and then I installed a new bird toy, completely with bird-safe bell, in each flight. Result: Both pairs have eaten a new perch, and Courtney has spent a decent amount of time hanging upside-down to give his bell the hairy eyeball. No one has rung any bells.
