I've lived with Peachfront Conures Aratinga aurea for 30 years. I've bred 'em, trained 'em, even visited Bolivia to observe them in the wild. For more about me, click right here.

big cage move
Whew. On Friday, I spent most of the day moving and re-arranging and cleaning, and now we can easily look out of our big picture window to view the Peachfronted Conures in their flight cages.
I have now determined that the new arrangement allows Courtney to watch the bird feeder. He was standing aghast this afternoon to watch the parade of Northern Cardinals, Carolina Chickadees, Red-winged Blackbirds, and -- the real oddity, in his book -- the whole family of Red-bellied Woodpeckers, including the adult male who does not often bother to visit the feeder. Was he, could he be, taunting my peachfronts?
