please, you call this winter?
Just when I think the winter's over, we had a cold snap, and there was a freezing night a few days ago. Courtney and Dale laughed it off like always. So glad we put that nice big perch under the heat lamp, for nights when they absolutely positively won't go into their snug nest box.
The weather is getting nice again, and I was able to do some scrubbing today on the peachfronted conure cages without freezing my fingers. I'll be glad when I can take down all of the electrical cords and wind breaks, so that I can give them a real thorough cleaning from top to bottom. But they'll do for now.
