I've lived with Peachfront Conures Aratinga aurea for 30 years. I've bred 'em, trained 'em, even visited Bolivia to observe them in the wild. For more about me, click right here.

two bathing beauty peachfronted conure videos
Peachfronted-conures love to bathe, so you have to watch out. It's a balance. Make sure they have enough water so that they don't splash it all out, but you don't want them to get trapped in something too deep.
This cutie was posted by YouTuber George McKeon. I've noticed that my birds also love to bathe in dishes about that size when they hear running water. It doesn't have to be from the tap or shower. It can actually be from the sound of rain, since I have a metal roof on the bird porch.
Showers are good too. In this video from YouTuber helgasvision, peachfront conure Indie shows how the bird can make use of a special shower perch to allow her to enjoy a nice shower.
She's really getting into it. Peachfront conures are clean birds, people!
